Summer is coming to a close, and soon comes back to school. It is a time of year for lots of picture taking I find. One of this weeks new releases over at My Whimisical Little World, is all about the Selfie and photo taking. What are your thoughts on the selphie stick? that stick that is supposed to help you take a better selfie. Do you love it? Hate it? Personally i don't mind them, but I don't own one myself. I prefer the good old selfie method, much like the one is the MWLW Digi shown below.

farm friends

Going to the farm for me happens on big family occasions, as some of my family lives on a farm. It's also fun to go with my niece once in a while to see all the animals! It's trips like that, which inspired me to make this months design team make :)

happy birthday to me...you...

Do you ever have that time in the year where all the birthdays seem to be lumped together? For me thats right now! My brother's birthday was yesterday, today is my 30th birthday, my grandma's is on the 29th of July and two of my friends have birthdays on August 1st! You know what that means? lots of crafting birthday cards!
Birthday cards have got to be my most popular type of card to make, but i dont mind because they are so versatile. For this weeks card and my whimsical little world design team challenge i used Pheobe from the mwlw store. Click her name to go to the store to get your own!

I love July, as a kid summer's were pretty much a free for all. It felt like we had unlimited time to run and play and craft of course! When i think of free i think of a Superhero, with their ability to feel free as a bird, flying high above the rest of the world. Canadian in the Dominican for July 4th!

Yay July is here! I always loved July because it is full of celebrations! On the 1st of the month we Canadian's celebrate Canada Day! This year i am also celebrating July 4th, America's independence day as i am on a early birthday trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic! Did someone say birthday???? Yup, my brother's, mine and my grandma's are all 3 day's apart at the end of July! Halloween at mwlw

Have you heard of my whimsical little stamps? If not you have to go check them out on Facebook they are to cute! I actually used two digis in the card,  the robot and the fence with the witch hat. I love the robot since I don't have any other robot stamps and the fence digi is unique! Plus they were a good excuse to get some new markers this weekend :p

Oh ya that Halloween stamp? I just had to have that too! I'm so ready for fall, the cold weather,  the beautiful colors and the crafting! Have you guys started Halloween crafting yet? I definitely have! Hope you have a crafty day :)

I loved this round of Pinterest dt assignment! 

This is the pic we got for inspiration, how adorable is it! Then I used a digi from one of our wonderful sponsors Robyn's fetish.

Do you ever look at something a picture perhaps and think I have the perfect scrapbook paper for that? That's what I immediately thought when I saw the above gorgeous picture. I think of blue, ocean, water, sailing....that was the challenge for this weeks Pinterest dt. So I went with the oceanic inspiration and the color inspiration and created this:

The stampin chef June recipe challenge

Happy birthday to an awesome sister in law!

I am so blessed to have an awesome sister in law who I get along with and who shares my love for scrapbooking, cardmaking and all things crafty! Recently she celebrated a birthday and I was called upon to make some birthday cards. 

The first one is from her husband and their daughter. I made a purse card to celebrate her love of purses, drawing complements of my niece :) 

The second card is from me and my fiancé. I realized after the fact I spelled bonne wrong...I am learning French slowly hence the typo :/ I used a fun digi from the stampin chef. 

As if her birthday wasn't excitement enough, her and her husband celebrated their 3 year marriage anniversary the very next day! So I of course made a card for her husband to give to her on this special occasion. I got the digi from an awesome company called all dressed up :) I also participated in two design teams, which will have their own posts.

Crafty whirlwind

Ever have one of those weekends where it's a crafty rush? I feel like I have done a lot of crafty related stuff lately, Mabey because I have started uploading things to my etsy shop that will be opening soon :) expect lots of crafty posts comming shortly...but first what I'm brimming with excitement about is that me And a good crafty friend signed up for crop and create Cornwall!!! This will be my 2nd crop (first crop and create event though) her first ever crop which just so happens to fall on her birthday! So my crafty friends, have you ever been to a crop? If so what are some of your must haves?
