Halloween at mwlw

Have you heard of my whimsical little stamps? If not you have to go check them out on Facebook they are to cute! I actually used two digis in the card,  the robot and the fence with the witch hat. I love the robot since I don't have any other robot stamps and the fence digi is unique! Plus they were a good excuse to get some new markers this weekend :p
Oh ya that Halloween stamp? I just had to have that too! I'm so ready for fall, the cold weather,  the beautiful colors and the crafting! Have you guys started Halloween crafting yet? I definitely have! Hope you have a crafty day :)

Pinterest dt #124

I loved this round of Pinterest dt assignment!
This is the pic we got for inspiration, how adorable is it! Then I used a digi from one of our wonderful sponsors Robyn's fetish.
I was inspired by the pic, and kept the colors and the concept, although the bear in my pic isn't sleeping it's in keeping with the bed time routine. What's your bedtime routine? What inspires you about the Pinterest pic? Let me know in the comments and have a crafty day!

Do you ever look at something a picture perhaps and think I have the perfect scrapbook paper for that? That's what I immediately thought when I saw the above gorgeous picture. Luckily for me it was the Inspiration pic for this weeks Pinterest design team. Using the adorable giraffe digi from Bugaboo, and the gorgeous sunset background,  this is what I created for this weeks challenge:
I just love when things inspire you,  what inspires you when your not sure what to craft?

Pinterest dt #110

ThatWhat comes to mind when you see this:
I think of blue, ocean, water, sailing....that was the challenge for this weeks Pinterest dt. So I went with the oceanic inspiration and the color inspiration and created this:
Using a digi from bugaboo stamps I created this card that would be perfect for a kids birthday party invite.
What do you see when you look at the pelican image? What does it inspire you to make?

Happy birthday to an awesome sister in law!

I am so blessed to have an awesome sister in law who I get along with and who shares my love for scrapbooking, cardmaking and all things crafty! Recently she celebrated a birthday and I was called upon to make some birthday cards.
The first one is from her husband and their daughter. I made a purse card to celebrate her love of purses, drawing complements of my niece :)
The second card is from me and my fiancé. I realized after the fact I spelled bonne wrong...I am learning French slowly hence the typo :/ I used a fun digi from the stampin chef.
As if her birthday wasn't excitement enough, her and her husband celebrated their 3 year marriage anniversary the very next day! So I of course made a card for her husband to give to her on this special occasion. I got the digi from an awesome company called all dressed up :) I also participated in two design teams, which will have their own posts.
So my crafty friends how much do you have to craft before considering it a crafty whirlwind?

Crafty whirlwind

Ever have one of those weekends where it's a crafty rush? I feel like I have done a lot of crafty related stuff lately, Mabey because I have started uploading things to my etsy shop that will be opening soon :) expect lots of crafty posts comming shortly...but first what I'm brimming with excitement about is that me And a good crafty friend signed up for crop and create Cornwall!!! This will be my 2nd crop (first crop and create event though) her first ever crop which just so happens to fall on her birthday! So my crafty friends, have you ever been to a crop? If so what are some of your must haves?

Pinterest design team #108

Today I'm presenting you with the second Pinterest dt entry I'm participating in. For this entry I was presented with this great pic as inspiration:
Aren't the colors great! Love the vibrant red and greens! This weeks digi stamp is from the fabulous Stamp Art digis, go check them out I found a fabulous digi from them that matched this inspiration pic perfectly! Since I couldn't think of a use for a rainy day card, I made a scrapbook layout. Perfect for capturing my niece playing in the puddles next time it rains :)
what inspires you about this pic?  What would you create my crafty friends?

Pinterest design team #106

Ive joined another design team. This ones called Pinterest dt and it takes random inspiration pictures from Pinterest gives you a selection of digital stamps and away you create. This first pic is the inspiration pic. The words are part of my favorite children's book, I love you forever.
I pulled the colors from this pic and the fact that it's mother and her child and so I made a Mother's Day card.
The digi I used is from stamping chef but they had sponsored the Pinterest dt challenge. Love when two design teams combine. I found this challenge a bit challenging as I don't tend to use soft colors often, but it's often fun to push your crafty creativity. What would you create with the inspiration pic? Feel free to show me below

Secret Santa

Our smiley team did a secret santa this year. I love the chance to give someone a surprise present that you just know they will love. I think in order to do that you have to creep or investigate. Thankfully the person I got is very active on social media so I didn't have to search very far. I did some digging and found out that they love mickey mouse. So I was thrilled when I was running errands and happened to come across mickey mouse washi tape. Then at the craft show I attended, there just happened to be a booth in my line of vision that specialized in Mickey mouse ornaments.  I am a big fan of helping out my fellow crafter so I scooped up an ornament as well. I also added little crafty tidbits I thought she could use throughout the next crafty year :) and that's how I put together this years smiley team secret santa gift.

Blue, blue Christmas

Blue christmas cards. The challenge for me on these was finding more than one shade of blue! Like how they turned out though.

Red Christmas

This challenge was great! Red is the color I think about most when it comes to  Christmas.  So I spiced things up a bit by using washi tape :)

Pink Christmas

Im dreaming of a pink Christmas?  For me not so much. The only pink I have in mind is clothes for my niece. That being said I do love pink other times of the year so this challenge was interesting.  Here are some of my creations :)

Purple Christmas

I love Christmas but usually tend to stick to the traditional green and red colors. On occasion I branch out to gold and silver lol. So this was deffinately a challenge for me. Like how they turned out though.

Merry Christmas France

Merry Christmas from France. The logic behind these cards, are Paris for the Eiffel tower and a sense of elegance. This is why i went with the more elegant looking merry Christmas rather than a French sentiment.

Merry Christmas Spain

Felix navidad!  And welcome to our next stop where we celebrate Christmas in Spain!
